Sorry for the inconsistent posting this month, as you can see I've been in and out of this realm. I've been busy though, with a big slice of life, and big slice of client work being thrown at me. I've got a new client to work for, which I am really excited about. It's a higher class hat shop called 'Phat Hats' which is located in the biggest mall in my city. The guy who owns it is a really nice guy, and is cool with me being a bit more creative then usual, so I'm going to have the chance to try a few things I haven't done before.
I've gotten it sketched down what I want to do, I want to have a model inserted much like the snowboarder in this example. I want the text to move around the model, and flow. I'm thinking very clean and simple design, with a very nice tabbed menu (different from mine, but same code base). So at least my creative juices are back flowing, and that's very exciting for me.
Another reason I've been gone lately is a little game called Lineage 2 which I got into the open beta. I had never played a MMORPG before downloading and playing this one, and I must admit, I'm hooked. I started off as a puny little dwarf, and now I'm starting to get stronger and take on some very cool creatures. But the open beta ended tonight and now I'm without it for a day or two, as I wait for the retail release. I'm almost 100% sure I will be buying it and paying the monthly fee for at least two months, or until WOW is released later this year.
