Playnite Desktop Theme

I have been incredibly impressed with Playnite and have made it a mission to integrate all my game libraries into my own local installation, ensuring the metadata and look is *just* right. It's a powerful open source tool for any gamer out there.

What it is

A custom desktop theme for the Playnite application that will integrate support for many of the most popular extensions, as well as include a modern and stylish look & feel that mimics the scootr site. I wanted to challenge myself to build something different, and this is a great test-case to see how far I can go with a project that diverges from web-development.

Custom fonts, re-arranging elements and seeing how far I can take it, and finding out what the community thinks will be really interesting to see.

Where it's at

I am in the process of bootstrapping the project and getting it into the repo for the start of actual development, but for now it is simply planned and on my plate to work on when I have time in the future. The GitHub repo will be public, so if you're wanting to contribute feel free to submit issues or PRs.

Next Steps

  • Formalize a PLAN.md to guide the project, identify key phases, blockers and lead us to the first alpha version.
  • Bootstrap the files needed locally and commit them to the repo so development can begin.
