So development must start on a new design, and it must be red hot, because it must keep my attention.
Despite the absence, the effuse project continues to bubble.
Dealing with the constant spam attacking my site is becoming tiring.
There is no better way to keep my thoughts organized then online, and in a list, so I'm going to post this here as my plan for the next 4 months of development for JezzJournal.
Lets explain to Chad the advantages that web standards brings to the table.
I find myself feeling indifferent to sites, no matter how good looking, that don't validate correctly, or are written in time consuming, bandwidth wasting HTML.
This may be the only time I say this... Way to go Microsoft! You have impressed me.
I've gone ahead and imploded my upcoming design for JezzJournal, as it just had too many bugs within the code, so I started from the bottom up structural-wise.
First off, you may notice that in the design, there is a bit of a alignment problem, more specifically in the rightcontent div (blue background). For some reason, the code is popping the unordered list code about 10-20 pixels to the left.
Just upgraded the WordPress back-end my site uses to .72 Gold, which was released yesterday. A lot of great new features, and it's very easy to update from b2 to WordPress.
I understand that if Valve wants to release a good product, they have to make sure it's a great game, and it will deliver what is expected of it. Let us not forget Warcraft III, which was delayed over a year and a half, but came out and became the best selling PC game of all time.
I even went out and preordered Half-Life 2, regardless of Valve's last 'lost' project Team Fortress 2. I really hope they bring out that as a modification of Half-Life 2, or maybe a new Counter-Strike version.
I really had never installed another browser other then Internet Explorer before, but since I've been reading 'Designing For Web Standards' my eyes have been opened up to a whole new area of web development.
I'm reorganizing a bit, because I know what I'm going to need in the new design. I've added a Photography Gallery for lack of a better way of showing off my pictures. I will of course post the good ones right in the blog, with a link to the gallery.
You may have notice some small changes to the site, regarding the sidebar. I've added a recently read entry, where I will be able to list articles I have read in the past days, and would like to share.
This is probably the worst spam email I've ever received. What exactly is the man/woman who created this trying to prove?
It's the way sites should be. I have been blind for so long, but now I see why sites are made, and they must be universal.
When I first started to play [Warcraft III](http://www.blizzard.com/war3), I really believed the game could not be improved any further. There was nothing I could think of, that's would really add to the games enjoyablity (if that is even a word), but I have been proved wrong.
Since I became interested in the whole field of Web Development, I really don't feel I've gotten much better. I may have made better designs, but lately I feel I'm stuck. I'm stuck at the same level of understanding I've always been.
